At Best4Care in Bradford, we pride ourselves on our Social Companionship service, offering reassurance to our clients – your loved ones – who simply want some company; a little social interaction. We know this can make a huge difference to their wellbeing and also your peace-of-mind.

We can tailor our services to meet everyone’s needs and cater to every whim, by working as a team with you, your family and appropriate health care professionals. If that means helping with jobs around the house or garden, no problem. If that means sitting, chatting, reading or reminiscing, it would be our pleasure. Even an outing to the local community centre to catch up with friends can be arranged.

Friendly faces are our mantra, as we realise and respect that your loved ones are already in a difficult place in their lives, so we want to help as much as we can with a trusted, friendly face. We sincerely hope that we can offer quality time and interesting conversation.

How often can a family member have a visit from a companion?

As often as you wish. If you would like a visit for an hour a week, that’s fine. Or if you want an hour a day, that works for us too. Whatever you need, we can work it out and create a tailored plan for you. Not one size fits all!

Can a companion help with paying bills and understanding financial documents?

Absolutely yes. Let us know and we can ensure we send a colleague with the necessary skills to help.

Are the team at Best4Care qualified?

Yes, this is very important to us. We have a team of qualified health care professionals with lots of relevant experience. Some of our nurses have worked for the NHS, so if for example, you need help with medication, we can help.

What happens if my needs or the needs of my family member change?

This happens a lot, so if an hour a week isn’t enough. Equally, if you need our assistance less, just give us a call. As time goes by, you may become more dependent on the companion. We can always put together a package which suits your needs, regardless. We’re here to help.
